AN002 Aphrodite hastata Sea mouse Winter Winter, Spring
AN003 Arenicola sp. Lugworm Year round Large worm. Ideal common research species.
AN004 Cistenides gouldii Trumpet worm Year round Common in the right habitat. This species constructs attractive tubes out of sand grains.
AN005 Clymenella torquata Bamboo worm Year round A common Maldanid found in sandy mud. Up to 3 inches in length. Shipped in their sand tubes when possible.
AN006 Filograna implexa Lacy tube worm Year round
AN007 Glycera dibranchiata Blood worm Year round Common bait worm. Also known as Beak-Thrower.
AN008 Lepidonotus squamatus Scale worm Year round Up to 2 inches in length. This species is common in tidepools and subtidally.
AN009 Myxicola infudibulum Slime fan worm Year round This species is noted for its giant axon and its history of widespread use in neurophysiological studies. It is primarily a subtidal species.
AN010 Nephthys sp. Shimmy worm Year round A small species found in sandy mud. Can be up to 3 inches in length.
AN011 Nereis virens Sand worm Year round A common species found in most mud flats in the area.
AN012 Sabella microphthalma Fan worm Year round This sabellid is about 3 inches in length. Lives in tough tubes attached to rocks and certain ledges.
AN013 Spirorbis borealis Spiral worm Year round This species builds small snail-like tubes, approximately 1/8 inch in diameter on seaweeds and rocks.
